Ha ha! We took Bananagrams to our family gift exchange and made sure we got home with it. When we played with my parents, we said it's "scrabble-style," which my brother heard. Apparently neither of my parents did because they made separate words instead of connecting them. :)
However, your dad wins on questionable and clearly non-words! ha ha
