The Big 3-0

Saturday is the day my friends...and family. Tiff and I were just going through our "Things we want to do by 30" checklist and we've done almost all of them. Is it a big deal? I don't know, I've been trying to self-assess to see if I have any emotions about it (good or bad). I haven't come to any conclusions yet, but I'll let you know after the fact. It does make me think of this....

I've always laughed at this scene (all 37 times I've seen it), but I never could relate. I don't foresee me breaking down and crying. I'm actually excited about our 30's and what life holds in the next decade.

More than I'm going to miss my 20's, I'm going to miss my hair. Particularly the nice thick patch towards the front. If you noticed in the most recent pics Tiff put up, it's starting to go. I thought I was prepared for this too. Since I was in high school I've been bracing myself "You know it's going to happen, no big deal", well......I think it's a bigger deal than I anticipated. There've been many moans and groans standing in front of the mirror, a new haircut, new styling techniques.

It's inevitable, I'm dealing. Just no wise cracks about 30 and hair at the same time.
