Currently listening to: Grizzly Bear

I'm bummed to be missing these guys live at the Mercy Lounge tonight, but since I can't go out and support them I'm doing the next best thing....telling all of you about them. The video is surreal to say the least, I haven't quite figured the connection with the song. If anyone has insights, please share.

the video reminds me of a dali painting with all the gears and the desert like setting. to me, the sand has something to do with time. the guys sinking may be a statement in regard to time/our existence. i couldn't hear the words so i don't know if this connects or not. tiffany, i really like the flickr pix of your house. want to help me decorate?

Agreed! It was wierd, but if the song says "Can't you feel the knife?", then I saw the oil rig, flowing blood, war, everything sinking into sand (Far East?), just everything that is happening these days getting us down. Not sure about the rock guy giving life to the dressed up cave man? See I am a little wierd, too! MOM
