As I've been to Prague very recently, this city wouldn't come to my mind when I see that building. I had opted for Venice, too.
Brett, try downloading the full sized picture from flickr, you'll see that there is a sign in the lower left corner. If you zoom into it, you'll see that the message is written in italian ("parafurto") and if you try very hard, you can vaguely scern out a phone number below that writing, starting with 041. If you google +39-041, you'll find some sites about Venice.

Now, just google "Venice" and display images only. Among the first pics, you'll see one that matches the building on the picture, without that ugly restoration thing.
The following picture might help you change your mind from Prague to Venice again :)

I fear you have a winner ;)

To Josh and Tiff: Hope you're fine, Josh is fit again and that you like Switzerland. At least, weather should be nicer than it was in Austria!?

P.S. for Brett :) it's not "Venice" that I googled in order to get that picture, but "doges palace"..

Alex - wow my friend, that's some pretty good investigative work. You are in fact correct, it is the Doge's palace. I thought this would be a farely easy one to get. No guesses yet on the last one though. I'll give a hint: Florence.

Well, that one in Florence seems to have been solved, too :) Obviously I'm kinda spoil-sport, huh? ;)
